Last year, we started a new tradition at EUSD, Student Spotlight, where each school chooses one student who stands out for their character, leadership, and hard work.
At last week’s Board Meeting, we proudly celebrated Ella Matos, a 6th grader from Stroud Elementary and this year’s Stroud Student Spotlight honoree! Ella’s teachers shared how she leads by example, helps her classmates, and faces challenges with determination and a positive attitude.
We also recognized Ella’s family for the guidance and encouragement they give at home, a reminder of how powerful it is when families and schools work together to help students shine. Way to go, Ella! We are so proud of you! We’ll be sharing more Student Spotlights throughout the year as we celebrate students from every EUSD school.
